A proud Hayes Man, All-Star Athlete, College Basketball Player, Professional Basketball Player, Coach, Husband, Father, Family Member, and Friend

A standout basketball player at Cardinal Hayes High School, Sam went on to play at St. Bonaventure University, where he graduated and excelled on the basketball court. He later fulfilled his dream of playing professional basketball. He carried the same discipline, leadership, and heart from the court into every part of his life.

Above all, Sam was a great human and family man — beloved husband, devoted father, supportive, and always present. He showed up not only for his family and friends but also for his student-athletes, mentoring and encouraging them with the same dedication and care he brought to every aspect of his life. His strength guided many, his laughter lifted spirits, and his generous heart will never be forgotten. His warmth and leadership made everyone feel valued and supported.
