Cardinal Hayes Welcomes Matthew Grady

Cardinal Hayes High School is pleased to announce that Matthew Grady, former Associate Head Coach at Manhattan College will be joining the Administrative Team at Cardinal Hayes High School in the capacity of Director of Athletics as of Monday, November 21, 2022. 
Mr. Grady has an extremely successful and rich history in the coaching basketball at the college level going back over twenty years. In that time span, he has worked at a number of post-secondary venues including Manhattan College, Morehead State University, University of Louisville, New Mexico State University ‚University of Cincinnati and Murray State University to name a few.
He graduated from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, with his degree in Finance. He has worked with a number of highly successful college head coaches such as Rick Pitino, Steve Masiello and Mick Cronin.
Mr. Grady brings a wealth of knowledge in the development and impacting greatness out of student-athletes both athletieally and academically. His work ethic, passion, and dedication are in line with the needs of a large and vibrant scholastie athletic program such as the one at Cardinal Hayes High School. 
Mr. Dennis O'Donnell who has filled in admirably as the Interim Athletie Director will revert to his previous role as the Assistant Athletic Director and will work very closely with Mr. Grady.
We welcome Mr. Grady to the Community of Learners that is Cardinal Hayes High School.
