Cross Country Finishes Strong

Written by Shawn Antoine II ’14 Director of Admissions
This has been a year like no other, but this fall we found a way to compete. The Cardinal Hayes Cross Country Team finished another successful season led by their Coach Sammy Adarkwa ’14. The team competed in the CHSAA Intersectional Championships at Van Cortlandt Park and finished third overall in the Varsity “C” race.
“Although it was an abbreviated season our kids exceeded expectations and made the school proud” said Athletic Director, Dennis O'Donnell.
Every member of the Cross Country Team had either a season best or personal record time during the CHSAA Intersectional Championships.
