Become a Hayes Champion

It has been a whirlwind the past few weeks at Cardinal Hayes. The historic run by our football team resulted in CHHS being the first NYC school to win the NYS Championship. In spite of several obstacles, not the least being the lack of a home field, the players persevered and reached the promised land. Kudos to Coach O’Neil and his coaching staff, and of course the players who demonstrated persistence, determination and resilience all season long.

CHHS continues to face significant financial challenges in continuing its mission to serve the young men of The Bronx. The cost of educating one student is approximately twice our listed tuition. Despite that discount, about 70% of the students required additional financial aid. CHHS could not continue without the generous financial support from alumni, sponsor programs and friends of Hayes.

We are enormously proud of our 80+ year heritage and the contributions that our alumni have made to our society and will continue to make. We ask for your help to ensure that we can continue to execute our mission and make a vital difference to the local community and beyond in the decades to come. The Hayes experience is truly unique. We have proven our ability to successfully educate and support young men in the inner-city and make them productive members of our society for over 80 years and counting. This year’s Champions are another example of our success.

Please join us this Holiday season and make a gift to CHHS. Be as generous as possible. Funds for financial assistance, faculty recruitment and retention, building repairs and improvements are always needed.
