Harris' Historic Day Highlights Broncos' Three-Win Performance to Wrap Up AARTFC's

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (May 20, 2021) – Three wins and a pair of nearly two-decade long school records fell during a momentous second day for the SUNY Delhi track & field team at the AARTFC Championships. The Broncos' Thursday slate consisted of their freshmen runners setting new PRs and chasing history over the course of four races.
These wins catapulted the men to an eighth-place team finish in the Freshman sprinter Naquille Harris set new Delhi standards on his way to winning the 100 and 200 meters, while establishing a new AARTFC meet and St. John Fisher stadium records in both events. After qualifying for the 100 finals Wednesday at 10.65, Harris won the event with a time of 10.49, topping the previous school record of 10.56 set by Marvin Elmore in 2002. An hour-and-a-half later, Harris doubled down by securing the victory and another school record in the 200 at 21.10, again passing Elmore's previous record of 21.50 from 2002.
