NOTE TO PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS:

(Current HIGH SCHOOL students)
If you are currently attending another high school, and would like to apply to transfer to Cardinal Hayes for the Second Semester (beginning 2/1/2012), you MUST take Cardinal Hayes’ own Transfer Exam during January 2012.  You must contact Mr. Craig Joseph, Admissions Director, at your earliest convenience to discuss your particular situation. 
 
You will need to report to Cardinal Hayes H.S. between 8:00 and 8:30 AM and sit for a Transfer Exam on a scheduled Saturday in January.  The dates for this exam will be posted on the Hayes website.  The cost of the Transfer Exam is a non-refundable $50NO CHECKS OR CASH WILL BE HONORED. PLEASE HAVE A $50.00 MONEY ORDER READY PAYABLE TO "CARDINAL HAYES HIGH SCHOOL."

If you are currently an eighth-grade student looking to apply to Cardinal Hayes for September 2012 you need to take the TACHS EXAM in November 2011. You can register for the Tachs Exam at Tachsinfo.com.

(NOTE TO TRANSFER STUDENTS)
Dear Prospective Student:

You recently contacted Cardinal Hayes High School inquiring about the admissions process. In order to be considered for admission for the second semester of the 2011-2012 school year, you must go through the application process.


In order to determine your current level of achievement in math and reading, you must take the Hayes Transfer Exam.  The exam is the first step in the admissions process. 
On the day of the Transfer Exam, you must bring:
  • 2 letters of recommendation. (1 from your Principal and 1 from your Counselor.  No teacher recommendations will be honored!) (Click here to download recommendation form <!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]-->)
  • Your most recent report card.  If you are applying to grades 10, 11, or 12, you must bring a copy of your most updated transcript.  Public School students must bring their “Student Historical Profile” or “Cumulative Record” printout. You may inquire about this form at your current public school.
  • Completed Hayes application.  Make sure to fill out all dates of attendance for EVERY grade.  DO NOT OMIT ANY SECTION OF THE APPLICATION. (Click here to download application form <!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]-->)
  • Two #2 pencils
  • A 12-inch ruler with inch and centimeter markings
  • A $50.00 MONEY ORDERNO PERSONAL CHECKS OR CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY OF THE TESTING!
Your application for admission is not complete until all of the above documents are submitted.  We will not process your application or arrange an interview (for transfer students only) unless ALL documents have been submitted.
